Then select the account that you don't want other people to see and slide the switch next to Mail to off (you may also want to turn mail Notes off so that they appear under Mail as opposed to Notes, so that they will also be hidden) - you can then repeat this for other.

The iPhone has made remaining informed anywhere you can get a Wi-Fi or data connection easy. This helps people in business stay in touch while traveling or between client meetings out of the office. If you want to log out of one of the mail accounts on the iPhone, you have two options.

Log Out of iCloud Accounts

You can opt to log out of all iCloud services via the Settings app. Go to 'Settings' and tap your 'iCloud ID' or name. Go to the bottom of the screen and select 'Sign Out.' Your device is now signed off from all iCloud services including Mail, iTunes, Apple Pay, iCloud Photo and Data Sharing, and all Shared Notes, to name a few. This quick method is not efficient if you are using these other iPhone apps. If you have set up email on an iPhone and seek to disable or sign out of only one account, you do this directly in the Settings in Accounts & Passwords. Signing out of an email account app doesn't affect all other iCloud and data sharing function.

Log Out of Specific Mail Accounts

Go to the iPhone's Setting app and select 'Accounts & Passwords.' Look through the established email accounts you have on your phone. You may have a private business email, an iCloud or Apple email, a Gmail or Outlook account, and other types of email services that are available on the iPhone.

If you want to log out of any of the accounts you see listed, tap the arrow to the right of the account and then move the slider from the On position to the Off position. This does not remove the account from your iPhone. You can turn it back on at any time in this same screen.

Log Out of Gmail iPhone App

If you have Gmail coming to your iPhone via the Gmail app and not through Mail, you must log out directly on the app and not in the iPhone's Settings. Open the icon for the Gmail app. Like any other mail service provider, you can add several Gmail accounts. If you are not signed in to your Gmail account when you launch the app, you are prompted to sign in. If you are signed in, you see the email account with email.

Tap your name and image at the top of the screen and select 'Manage Accounts' to open the screen that lists all the Gmail accounts you use with the iPhone. Slide the slider next to any account to the Off position to sign out of that particular account on the iPhone.
