Added Cosmic DNA Truss
I've now included console fixture profiles for all multi instance fixtures in my pack with the models embedded in the profile. This means you no longer have to assign the parts on multi instance fixtures. Simply patch my console profiles into your show and the models will be there.
Using these also gives you zoom on multi instance movers now.
Assigning model to single instance fixtures is still the same, just select fixtures in ma3d, right click and change model.
You can still assign models to your own multi instance profiles if you like, but if it’s a moving head, use models from the legacy folders so things align correctly . However please note you wont get the zoom feature on multi instance as there is edits to the xml once models are assigned
If you don’t see a console profile for the mode you need for a multi instance fixture, or you have a special profile you need a model to work with, please email me and Ill do what I can
There is still no viewing of shutter information on multi instance fixtures in ma3d – This is a current limitation of MA3d
There is also no viewing of fixture inbuilt macros/shapes etc as these are fixture generated.
Ive also included a spreadsheet of instance locations ive edited in case you want to edit a console one
You’ll need to use my console fixture libraries for multi instance fixtures to work in ma3d.
Free Covid19 models - For those who do not yet have my pack, Ive added a couple extra models to the free pack including of course the 'tourpro corona' Visit the Store to download a couple of free fixture models for MA3d
A few things to note before considering a purchase
You will not get increased functionality with my models. You will not get fixture in built effects and macros as they are not generated by the console but by the fixture itself.
My models contain no other information other than the model and basic axis information.
All functionality of the fixtures is down to the fixture libraries on the console and MA itself, the models are purely that, models.
Multi instance fixtures only show Dimmer and colour information on instances. you do not see Shutter on instance fixtures. (This is a current limitation on ma3d)
For accurate positioning of your shows, editing of pan and tilt settings in MA2 fixture libraries on your show files is necessary to maintain correlation between real world and viz. Read my explanation of why and how to here.
This is general information that applies to any fixture you use in your shows and want to visualize in MA3d, not just my model pack
The cost of the model pack is US$105
If you have already purchased my model pack, I thank you for the support and you will be able to download the update for free. You should get an email from the selz store letting you know how.
ConsoleTraining.com have made a tutorial on installing and using the pack
I have also uploaded a couple of instruction videos to youtube

Pan and Tilt in MA3d explained
As a long time MA user and fan of the GrandMA 3d software for both programming and producing client images, I was surprised at the limited amount of fixtures and other models included.
So I set about building a few of my own fixtures and other models for my own shows and programming
As my personal model library grew, I realized that very few people would have the time and the patience to build their own.
So I decided to expand the library and offer it for sale to other LDs, operators and other MA end users and enthusiasts of GrandMA 3d.

What's in the model pack?
I've now included over 285 fixture models. View Images of models here
I've also included many other useful models
Trussing, (large range of box and Tri truss), risers ( both open and boxed styles in many sizes) audio gear ( PA, monitors, etc), backline (few different drums, amps etc) a few different festival size stages, a basic arena venue.
I’m offering all these for the low cost of US$105 that’s less than US $0.35 per fixture plus the rest of the models for free. Click here to buy my model pack.
All my fixtures have an arrow on the base indicating the normal front side of fixtures as I understand them or as I’ve seen/ been told most hang them. Its a simple way to easily see if you have everything pointing the way you want. I've also indicated cables as a secondary reference if you don't agree with my arrows.
Installation is easy, I provide you with gmamedia files to import into MA3d as well as instructions on doing so and Ive also uploaded an instruction video here
You may have already experimented with changing model types in MA3d, but if not I also provide instructions on changing the generic models to my alternatives and using the other models.
A few notes before considering to purchase:
As GrandMA3d is essentially a beautified version of the “stage view” on the MA2 console or MApc, all functionality of the fixtures is down to the fixture libraries on the console and MA itself, the models are purely that, models.
